The Allmighty!

Seeing the world is an accessible option for most people who have the will and desire to do so.

By desire, I mean a true desire. Not the fleeting desire we think about like when we see something that would be "nice." If you want to see the world and you are like most you must prioritize your desires and pick what is most important.

I know there are several people who are addicted, possibly chemically, to coffee with a particular affinity for Starbucks. I would venture to say that most spend close to $5 a day for at least three days a week on Starbucks coffee. If you had the herculean will, you would end up with close to $800 a year for other things.

Also, many people have cable or other subscription entertainment options. Between Netflix and Hulu, you can get a substantial amount of the entertainment. In addition to those, you can get a lot of things by just using rabbit ears. A few years ago, over the air entertainment became digital and much of the prime time networks became HD.

If you are like me, you often spend money if you have it in your hand or bank account saving up may be the difficult part. I recommend setting up a FUNd. Many banks offer free savings accounts that enable you to deposit money into them. Also, a lot of employers allow direct deposit and that money via either percentage or steady amount, can be placed into this FUNd where it may remain out of site and out of mind until you want to get that sweet trip.
